A Saskatchewan mother is speaking out and demanding that her local school board protect the privacy and safety of girls in washrooms and change rooms. She is concerned that current policies allowing biological males to access female facilities are putting her daughter and other girls at risk of discomfort, privacy violations, and potential safety issues. The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms is supporting her fight for clear, common-sense boundaries based on biological sex.
This case reflects a growing number of parents across Canada who are no longer willing to stay silent as schools prioritize ideology over the privacy, dignity, and security of female students. When biological males are permitted into girls’ washrooms and change rooms, it creates an environment where many girls feel unsafe or unwilling to voice their concerns for fear of being labelled intolerant.
True North strongly supports parents’ rights to advocate for their children and the protection of single-sex spaces in schools. Girls should not have to sacrifice their privacy or comfort to accommodate gender ideology. Public institutions have a basic duty to safeguard vulnerable students rather than experiment on them with contested social policies.
We will continue to highlight these stories because parents deserve a real voice in their children’s education and safety. Common sense must prevail over ideology.
